Sandi Villarreal is a freelance writer and web developer based in Minneapolis. She also works as a part-time development manager and communication director at the nonprofit LINC-Twin Cities.

Sandi has worked in all aspects of media, including in print journalism, online journalism, communication consulting, web development and internet marketing. She graduated with an MS in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2008, and previously earned a BA in Journalism and Political Science from Baylor University.

Sandi enjoys wine tasting, hanging out with her Lutheran preacher husband, and getting back to Texas and Chicago whenever possible.
